Chun-hsin Tseng is a rising tennis player from Taiwan, who competes on the ATP Tour.
Yes. Tseng has qualified for the ATP Next Gen Finals in 2022. This is the first time that he has made the cut for the season-ending event for players aged 21 and under, making him only the second Asian player to compete at the event after 2017 champion Hyeon Chung.
Chun-hsin Tseng went 0-3 in Milan, losing to Lorenzo Musetti (4-2, 5-2, 5-2), Jack Draper (1-4, 4-2, 4-3, 4-2) and Dominic Stricker (4-2, 4-1, 4-2) to finish at the bottom of the Red Group.

His highest ranking is No 83, which he reached on August 8, 2022. You can find his current ranking and ranking history on his ATP Tour profile page.
Tseng made his Grand Slam debut at the 2022 Australian Open where he received a wild card entry, going down to Oscar Otte in straight sets.
At the 2022 Roland-Garros Championships, he qualified for the main draw and went down in five sets to Joao Sousa after a five-set battle that lasted four hours and 23 minutes. He also lost in the first round of Wimbledon and the US Open in 2022.
Tseng is coached by Benjamin Ebrahimzadeh, an is Iranian-German player who played for the Iran Davis Cup team in 2008. He has coached Angelique Kerber, Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Natalia Vikhlyantseva in the past.
His family includes father, Yu Te; mother, Chung Han Tsai, and brother, Yun Di. Chun-hsin Tseng told the ATP Tour that his family has had the biggest impact on him.
“I think it will be my family because they have helped me and supported me with their heart and given me a lot of support on Tour. Especially my mum and my brother when I was travelling a lot. She worked very hard until the midnight, every day.”
He is nicknamed “the Night Market Champion” by the media in Twaiwan as family used to sell Tanghulu at the Lehua Night Market in New Taipei City in order to support his career.
Chun-hsin was a former junior world No 1 in 2018, the same year he won the French Open and Wimbledon boys singles titles.
